With increased demand in the Natural Gas Industry for reliable Sulfur-specific measuring technologies, CAS accepted an invitation to give a presentation to American Gas Association’s Gas Control Committee at the 2014 Fall Operations Conference (Sept. 15-19). CAS is a manufacturer of climate-controlled shelter enclosures and integrated Gas Chromatograph platforms for the accurate measurement of mercaptans and naturally occurring sulfurs for pipeline operators, transmission, and distribution.
U.S. EPA in conjunction with Research Triangle Institute have completed the laboratory phase of evaluating automatic gas chromatographs for installation into the PAMS network. CAS is proud to be selected as one of the “funded” finalists for the field study phase of the PAMS AutoGC Evaluation. Check back for updates on the evaluation.
On May 19, 2014 CAS installed a Turn-Key NCore Multipollutant Monitoring System in Puerto Rico. This project took a lot of coordination and planning, CAS would like to give special thanks to the USEPA, USEPA Region 2, and Puerto Rico EQB. Seth Cloran and Tom Platter recently traveled to Riobamba, Ecuador as invited speakers at Jornadas Internacionales Ambientales Aplicadas. The international conference on environmental issues in South America covered various subjects including, soil, groundwater, and air quality. Mr. Platter and Mr. Cloran were invited to speak on Particulate Matter, Air Toxics, and Odor.
